Ψ (Psi) opens the words that define Shambhala's cosmic role: Psych\u1e17 (ψυχή) — the soul, the breath of life, the animating principle that sees without eyes. Psalmo\u00ed (ψαλμοί) — songs of praise, the sacred chants that open the third eye. Ps\u1e17phos (ψῆφος) — the foundation stone, the counting stone, the bedrock of inner vision.
The shape of Psi Ψ is itself a revelation: a trident — the three-pronged scepter of Poseidon, but also the three channels of the nervous system: ida, pingala, and sushumna. The two outer prongs are the dual channels of duality — left and right, moon and sun, feminine and masculine. The central prong is the sushumna — the channel of the soul, the pathway of inner vision, the road to Shambhala.
